Introducing: The Queen

The Primordial Mother — the eternally starving Queen of the Spider Nest — to whom the scorpio-spiders bring creatures hunted in the lands surrounding the lair.

The Primordial Mother possessed a gigantic maw, nearly two meters in diameter, bristling with teeth far larger than those of her daughters, the scorpio-spiders. She was exceptionally cruel, filled with hatred, ruthless, and endlessly hungry. Her massive, bloated body shimmered in places with a pale, sickly green hue.

She wielded immense, destructive strength — tearing prey to shreds, and often her own offspring as well, should their audacity allow her hunger to grow unbearable. Countless enormously long, thick, dark limbs extended from her body. With them she dragged herself into underground nests, strangled enemies, crushed bodies before devouring them, and in the tropical regions of Salvador she was even capable of ripping a fully grown tree from the earth, roots and all.

She resembled a colossal octopus cast ashore from the darkest ocean depths — except that her dozens of tentacles, each of differing length, were shaggy and coarse on top, while underneath they were densely covered with repulsive white pustules, oozing thick mucus.

At the sound of her furious roar, the spider nest trembled to its very foundations. For those deemed useless to the growth of the Queen and her horde, there was only one price — to be consumed by the Primordial Mother herself.

Gazing upon this creature, one could not escape the feeling that she was a manifestation of nature’s darkest side — and only two words forced themselves to the lips: boundless, insatiable hunger.

About World of Conjunction

Conjunction is a unique Father & Son project – written by Cezary Górzyński, an architect and entrepreneur, together with his 17-year-old son Oliwer Górzyński, an aspiring film student. Over 92 weeks of work, the two created a fully fleshed-out universe, characters, maps, and storylines, with editorial support from Oliwer’s grandmother – turning Conjunction into a three-generation creative adventure. This is more than a book. It’s a family project born from imagination, laughter, and the dream of one day turning it into a film or series.
